Our Focus

Prior to 2011, Grass Roots applied most of its focus toward turf grass plants. We offered a simplified approach to lawn care through the use of proper and professional soil testing – a luxury that has only been enjoyed by both golfing and farming industries through an accredited soil testing laboratory. In 2011 we have expanded to move toward the other plants surrounding a home…from vegetables to ornamental plants. Our new name is A Growing Necessity simply to send the strong message that the first step in any lawn or garden care is first in using a soil test process…a ‘necessity’ in proactively avoiding seasonal set-backs!
